Who does Shaman Links List on their Healer and Teacher Directories?
Shaman Links has provided Shaman Teacher and Shamanic Healer directories since 2003. Our goal is to provide a long list of healers and teachers to help our visitors find shamans / shamanic practitioners in their area. We see our directories as a big wall where we allow healers and teachers to “post their flier.”
We do not screen our healers or our teachers, we do ask them to confirm whether or not they are offering shamanic services. Our goal is that when you click on a link or send an email you will know that the person you are contacting is offering shamanic services of some kind. The list is to aid in your search, so that you can investigate whether they are “good” healers and the right healer for you.
Occasionally, an individual listed on the healing directory might be an animal healer, or a land healer. A shamanic teacher may not offer journeying, but teach shamanic art or how to use mandalas. Their main way of teaching may be through a drumming circle. However, each listing has told us that they consider their work to be shamanic in some way.
We do our best to check the over 1000 links to make sure that people are still in the location where they originally applied to be listed, and that they are still offering shamanic services. If you find any outdated listings, we appreciate your telling us through our feedback form.
